The 16 x 4 metre, infinity-edge lap pool is lined with green Java stone, and appears to overflow into the forest below. At the far end, it is sensationally suspended eight metres above the ground and the water is 1.4 metres in depth. There is a 60-centimetre shallow end for kids, and this part of the pool is also very pleasant for sitting in. The terrazzo pool deck is furnished with stylish, high quality, lightweight metal sunloungers and Chinese-style sun parasols. Mini parasols are also to be found throughout the property for the use of guests. There are numerous relaxation areas, strategically positioned in the shade, so that guests will always find a private spot for peace and quiet. The garden is planted with frangipani and flowering shrubs, and adorned with pots of bougainvillea and a carved frieze depicting characters from The Ramayana. |
